A Reasonable Atheist Review : A Journey Towards Jesus

Would you like to learn more about the Bible and test your trivia knowledge of the divine?
If that didn't inspire you to close this web page, then perhaps this Christian game : A Journey Towards Jesus, is just the kind of Bible study, good ol' time your soul desires.
You start your journey here, in the image below.

The young man in this pic is Eliab. He wants to recruit your help so that he can save his sick sister Sara. They've tried all of the medicines they could afford, and nothing works. Her only hope it seems, is to find this Jesus fellow that people are starting to talk about. They say he preaches about God's Kingdom and heals the sick!

Assuming you don’t know a lot about the Bible, which is fine because most Christians don’t, and many others don’t even believe in it, but still identify as Christian anyway, and blah blah blah blah BLAH blah blah, you will likely find this game very challenging. Ultimately it comes down to a game of memory, where you pass each stage by solving multiple choice questions, word scrambles, and sometimes you need to chronologically order a series of events from a Bible story. Here's one example below.

I was so happy that I knew this one! This was when 42 children were eviscerated by God's command, as he empowered two she-bears to attack them for an obvious, righteous, and just reason. They made fun of a guy (Elisha) because he was bald.

Oh that God of Abraham - Classic old testament. What a loving, silly psychopath he used to be.

Similar to my real life journey towards Jesus, my in game journey ended abruptly with a realization that I was completely wasting my time. But that's just me. On a scale of enjoyment, I give this game a 1/5 Star rating.

But if you're Christian, and looking to spend your time brushing up on the "truth" of the gospel, I would give this app...like...4/5 Halos, or something cute like that.

Lastly, I should make mention of how ad heavy this game is. But blessed be, ye can contribute to the next great Christian game and free yourself of the ads simultaneously for a mere $2.49! In case you were to forget, every single time you log in, the game prompts this reminder image below.
